Six women were killed and at least 10 others injured in a collision between two trucks at Ruma upazila in Bandarban district on Monday afternoon.
The accident took place in Bagalek Dalu area of the Ruma-Keukaradong road at 1.30 pm.
The identities of the casualties were not known immediately.
Locals said the deceased were going to Ruma Bazar to take VGD rice by a truck. On the way, a mini truck hit the truck from behind in that area. Four died on the spot and another 10 were injured.
Ruma Police Station officer-in-charge Md Alamgir confirmed the matter.
