Two persons were killed in separate road accidents at Sreenagar upazila in Munshiganj district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Nur Nabi, 14, son of Nurul Huq, a resident of Khaiagaon village, and Azad, 41, a resident of Mashuraganj village.
Locals said a truck hi an auto rickshaw from opposite direction at Dakbanglo area, leaving a passenger Nur Nabi dead on the spot and three others were injured.
On the other hand, a private car hit Azad at Mashuragaon area around 9 am, leaving him seriously injured. Locals rescued him but he succumbed on the way to hospital.
Patabhog Union Parishad Chairman Hamidullah Khan confirmed the matter.
