Two bike riders were killed and another was injured in a motorcycle accident in old Dhaka's Dholaikhal area early Monday.
The deceased were identified as Abul Khayer, 30, and Sabbir Hossain, 26,. They were furniture businessmen.
Another named Nayeem, 17, was also injured in the accident that tool place around 3:30am.
Ganderia Police Station SI Mizanur Rahman said the trio were returning their Shyampur home from workplace.
When their motorcycle reached Dholaikhal's Kawartek area, a running truck hit it from behind and three fell onto the ground from the vehicle. Later, the truck ran over two of them and they died on the scene.
Police recovered the bodies after getting call from national emergency service 999.
The bodies were sent to Mitford Hospital morgue.
