16 officers of the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Bangladesh Police including Rajshahi, Rangpur and Barisal ranges have been transferred. The transfer was made in a notification from the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday (July 16) by order of the President.

Abu Kalam Siddique as Tourist Police, Additional DIG of CID (presently promoted as Deputy Inspector General of Police) AKM Nahidul Islam as CID, Joint Commissioner of Police (DMP promoted as Deputy Inspector General of Police) Biplab Vijay Talukdar as Commissioner of Police (DIG) Rajshahi, Barisal Range DIG SM Aktaruzzaman in Dhaka Police Staff College, Highway Police DIG. Mozammel Haque Khulna Metropolitan Police Commissioner and Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Commissioner. Anisur Rahman has been made Rajshahi Range DIG.

Rajshahi Range DIG Md. Rangpur Range DIG Abdul Baten, Rangpur Range DIG Moha. Abdul Alim Mahmud in Anti-Terrorism Unit, Armed Police Battalion. Jamil Hasan to Barisal Range DIG, Special Branch (SB) Additional DIG of Police (currently promoted to Deputy Inspector General of Police) Rakhfar Sultana Khanom to Sarada Police Academy, Rajshahi, DMP Joint Commissioner of Police (currently promoted to Deputy Inspector General of Police) Md. Zakir Hussain Khan has been transferred to Industrial Police.

Besides, Additional DIG of Special Branch (SB) of Police (currently promoted to Deputy Inspector General of Police) Md. Moniruzzaman to SB, Additional DIG of Police Headquarters (currently promoted to Deputy Inspector General of Police) Mohammad Abdullah Baki to Armed Police Battalion, Tangail Police Training Center Commandant (DIG) Md. Moinul Islam in Dhaka Training Driving School and Commandant (DIG) of Dhaka Training Driving School. Nazrul Islam has been transferred as Commandant (DIG) of Tangail Police Training Centre.
