Quader warns BNP against making derogatory remarks on Hasina

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has warned BNP and others that those who would make derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina they have to face dire consequences.

Mentioning that BNP and its allies are causing misery in the name of rallies in different places, including National Press Club, Quader said, “They are not showing any decency or courtesy in their remarks.  They are also chanting slogans with abusive words against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina which is not acceptable in any way.”

Quader made the remarks while addressing at a press briefing from his official residence in Dhaka on Sunday.

The  murderous character of BNP has become clear again as they chant slogan “'Let the weapons of the 15 August roar once again' - has exposed its murderous character.

About BNP secretary general’s remarks that there would be no elections under this government, Quader said the people of Bangladesh do not accept the irresponsible and senseless remarks of any person or group.

Awami League does not bow its head to the terror of any conspirator, he added.

Quader said BNP founder Ziaur Rahman had made a joke with the nation by imposing curfew like democracy after trampling the democratic culture and rights of the people. At the same time, he violated the constitution and the law by occupying both army chief and president posts.

He further said today, BNP is carrying the legacy of ill-politics following the footsteps of Zia.
