The written examination for the 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) is set to start on July 24 and continue till July 31.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has issued directives to be followed during the written examination.
The directives include:
1. It is strictly prohibited to bring books, watches, mobile phones, calculators, all kinds of electronic devices, any device like credit card, jewelry, bracelets and bags in the examination centre. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall with these prohibited material.
2. The candidates will have to enter the examination hall through an inspection at the entrance gate in presence of the executive magistrate and members of police.
3. SMS will be sent to the mobile phones of all the candidates for not bringing these prohibited materials. All the candidates have to follow the instructions.
4. Candidates will not be able to cover their ears during the test, they will have to keep their ears open. If it is necessary to use any kind of hearing aid in the ear, the approval of the commission should be taken beforehand along with the advice of the specialist doctor.
According to a PSC notification, if these prohibited items are found from any candidate during the examination, he or she will be disqualified for all future recruitment examinations of PSC, including cancellation of the candidature of the concerned candidate.
