There is no possibility of rain anywhere in Bangladesh in the next 24 hours, and the heat may rise all over the country, Bangladesh Meteorological Department has said.
“Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong
divisions and the district of Moulvibazar and it may continue,” said BMD on their daily weather forecast on Monday.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over Bangladesh, it adds.
In Dhaka, the temperature was 37.4°C on Sunday, which has now risen to 37.9°C on Monday.
Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, the highest temperature in Bangladesh was recorded in Chuadanga, which reached 39°C.
