The new curriculum for the students of classes six and seven has been introduced.
The students of those classes will no longer have to sit for conventional exams or model tests this year, according to the new curriculum.
A notice, signed by Prof Belal Hossain, director of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE), confirmed the matter on Monday.
According to the notice, there will be no exams or model tests in the 6 and 7 classes. The students of the two classes will have to carry out the learning-teaching and evaluation activities according to the new curriculum and the teacher guide prepared by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board.
