The by-elections to the Natore-4 constituency will be held on October 11, as per the schedule announced by the Election Commission on Thursday afternoon.
Jahangir Alam, secretary of the Election Commission Secretariat, told reporters that the last date for filing nomination papers for the by-election is September 17.
Nomination papers will be scrutinised on September 18. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is June 25.
The election will be held in the seat vacated after the death of Awami League lawmaker of Natore-4 constituency Prof Abdul Quddus on August 30.
