Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended a cabin crew for allegedly misbehaving with passengers of a Dhaka-bound flight from India's Kolkata.
Based on passengers' complaints, Flight Stewart Mugni Mustafa has been suspended, Biman Bangladesh Airlines sources said today (July 27, 2022).
Earlier on Friday, Biman Bangladesh Airlines grounded four cabin crew, including Mustafa, over the same incident.
The flight BG-396 left Kolkata for Dhaka at 9:05pm on Thursday.
According to sources, the cabin crew misbehaved with the passengers when they asked for water since the AC of the aircraft was not working.
After arriving at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, passengers complained to Biman officials at the airport.
Initially, the Biman authorities grounded the four cabin crew members based on the verbal complaint from a passenger.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines said that a committee has been formed to investigate the incident. After receiving the report, further action will be taken.
