The 23rd Chief Justice of the country Hasan Foez Siddique is going to retire. He will retire on September 25.
But Supreme Court will be on vacation at that time. For this, today is the last working day of the judicial life of the Chief Justice.
As per the rules, he will be felicitated in the number one courtroom of the Supreme Court by the Attorney General's office and the Supreme Court Bar Association today.
Hasan Foez Siddique took an oath as Chief Justice on September 31, 2021.
Born on Sept 26, 1956, Justice Siddique began his journey in the legal profession in 1981 after enrolling as a lawyer in the Dhaka Judge's Court.
He began practising in the High Court Division in 1983 before becoming an advocate of the Appellate Division in 1999.
