Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique went to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. During his absence, the Appellate Division Judge Obaidul Hasan will perform his duty as acting Chief Justice.
"According to article 97, the Appellate Division Judge Obaidul Hasan has been given the charge of Chief Justice from September 11-18 till Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique will take charge again," the order issued by the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs secretary Golam Sarwar reads.
Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique went to Saudi Arabia in the afternoon on September 11 to perform Umrah.
