Ganotantra Mancha has announced human chain programme in Dhaka and other divisional cities on March 11.
The programme was announced by Sheikh Rafiqul Islam Bablu, convener of the Bhasani Anusari Parishadat, in front of Jatiya Press Club on Saturday.
The alliance announced the programme to press home their 14-point demand, including the resignation of the Awami League government.
He said, "I request all members of the alliance to inform their division leaders of the protest so we can hold successful programmes in Dhaka and the other divisions."
The leaders and activists of the Ganotantra Mancha gathered at the press club at 11:30 am and held a brief rally there as part of the ongoing simultaneous movement. After the rally, the leaders and activists of the alliance marched towards Kakrail.
