A case has been filed against eight leaders and activists of Eden Mohila College Chhatra League, including its president and general secretary, for "attempt to kill their vice-president."
Lalbagh police has been ordered to investigate the matter and submit a report by October 23.
The accused are president Tamanna Jasmine Riva, general secretary Razia Sultana, Nujhat Faria Roksana, Mim Islam, Noor Jahan, Ritu Akter, Anika Tabassum Swarna and Kamrunnahar Jyoti.
Jannatul Ferdousi, vice-president of Eden Mohila College Chhatra League, filed the case against them before the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Syed Mostafa Reza Noor.
