The bail hearing of four BNP leaders in a case filed over Nayapaltan clash, will be held on Monday.
Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Rezaul Karim Chowdhury fixed the date on Sunday following a petition filed by Joynal Abedin Mesbah, council of Mirza Fakhrul.
The four leaders are: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee member Mirza Abbas, Abdus Salam and Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie.
Earlier on Friday (December 9), a court in Dhaka sent Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Mirza Abbas to Dhaka Central Jail rejecting their bail prayers in the case.
The case was filed with Paltan Model Police Station on December 8, a day after the clash broke out in front of the party's Nayapaltan office.
