Anjuman Ara Begum, wife of heroic freedom fighter Abu Taher Bhuiyan, passed away on December 18 at 3:30 pm while undergoing treatment. She is a heroic freedom fighter, former president of Feni District Chhatra League, former VP of Feni College, former president of Feni District Labor League, The former president of Feni District Jasad (INUR), was the wife of Principal Abu Taher Bhuiyan, the first flag bearer of independence in Feni.


She was 63 years old at the time of his death. She died while undergoing treatment at United Hospital. She had been ill for several days before. At the time of his death, she left behind numerous relatives and well-wishers, including 2 sons and 1 daughter. Her funeral prayers were held at Bishnupur Maulvipara Poksha Baba's shrine courtyard mosque in Comilla city. After that, she was laid to rest beside his husband's grave. On the 21st, Khatam, Dua, Milad, Ziarat, Doa, Tabarak distribution were held from morning to afternoon in Comilla and on the 22nd, Quran Khatam, Dua, Munajat and Tabarak distribution were held in Dhaka. On his death, General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League and Minister of Communications and Bridges Obaidul Quader, Dhaka Journalists Union, Dhaka Cultural Reporters Unity, Hatirjheel Journalists Forum, BMSF, Feni Journalists Einity, Pirojpur Reporters Unity, Comilla Reporters Unity, Bangladesh Muktijudda Manch, Bangladesh Freedom Fighters Sangsad expressed deep condolences. He is journalist Sajjad Hossain Chishti (DUJ, BFUJ, member of Feni Journalist Forum Dhaka, Chittagong Division Journalist Forum Dhaka), former Chhatra League leader, former member of Jubo League Central Committee, member of Bangladesh Awami League Central Information and Research Sub Committee and Bangladesh Awami League Twelfth National Assembly The election management member, Sami Hussain Chishti, director of Sydney University, Sami Hussain Chishti, assistant professor at Notre Dame University, government official Mehzabeen Akhtar was Diana's mother.
