30 shops burnt down in the chase in Kishoreganj. The fire incident took place at Enayet Super Market in Sadar Bazaar of the upazila around 9:30 pm on Saturday.
In no time, around 30 shops were burnt to ashes when the fire spread around. Locals said that there has been a loss of around crores of Taka.
After getting the information, 2 units of Tarail Fire Service, 1 unit of Karimganj Fire Service and 1 unit of neighboring Nandail Fire Service managed to bring the fire under control after about two hours. The fire service officials initially believe that the fire may have started from an electrical short circuit. Locals said that the fire started from a shop in Enayet Super Market. Moments later, flames spread around. The burnt shops include mobile, electronic and hotels. Locals said that none of us can imagine how the fire started.
