Two people were killed after a truck smashed their motorcycle at Sadar upazila in Bogura district on Monday night.
The deceased were Habib, 25, son of Tojammel Haque, and Rockey, 25, son of Rustam Ali, residents of Kallibala area in the upazila.
Bogura Sadar Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Selim Reza said a truck hit a motorcycle from the opposite direction in Matidali Biman crossing area at about 11:00 pm, leaving them critically injured.
They were rescued and taken to nearby hospitals where the on-duty doctors declared them dead.
Legal steps in this regard are under process, OC Selim added.
