TÜV Rheinland, Bangladesh celebrates 150 years of its establishment at Dhaka Sheraton in a jovial atmosphere where the top management from TÜV Rheinland Group was present. High officials and representatives from Bangladesh German Chamber of commerce & Industry (BGCCI), Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) were also present during the celebration. 

TÜV Rheinland is an independent service provider organization established in 1872 in Germany. Now a days it has operations in above 50 countries  around the world. In Bangladesh TÜV Rheinland started its journey in 2011 and during last 11 years the business entity could shape its mark very deep in the textile, leather, footwear and other industries by providing quality testing, inspection and certification services for more than 70 world renowned brands and their manufacturing partners. 

The Managing Director of  TÜV Rheinland Bangladesh, Syful Islam Khan, expressed his profound appreciation towards the stakeholders, associations, owners of brands, agents, importers, textile, garments, footwear manufactures and their associations. He also conveyed his gratitude to the Government of Bangladesh for creating an environment for doing business smoothly in Bangladesh. On top of that he appreciated the hard works, dedication and commitment of each and every employee working for the company and reiterated his commitment to overcome the challenged posed by Covid-19 and the recent impact from Ukraine Crisis. 

 The Executive Vice President of TÜV Rheinland India-Middle East-Africa and Bangladesh, Benedikt Anselmann, gave appreciative speech to the distinguished guests and employees and said that, in the year of its 150th anniversary, TÜV Rheinland is experiencing with excellent growth because of our commitments to the valuable customers and dedication of our experts around the world. He also said that TÜV Rheinland wants to be the best trusted independent service provider in the world. 

 The event ended with a Cultural Show where some talented Bangladeshi performers presented Bangladeshi culture and heritage through their visual art.
