Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said the next nation election will be held on time.
"Those who call us vote stealers, are vote robbers. It's very unfortunate that we have established the right to vote, now we are called vote thieves. Those who say this, are vote stealers."
The Primer made this remark while addressing a press conference on Wednesday about the outcome of her recent visits to Switzerland and Qatar.
She said, "The Election Commission has been formed according to the law. There is a voter list with pictures. There are no fake voters like them. Voting will be held according to the constitution. If the people cast their votes, then I am. I believe in people's empowerment."
The press conference is being held at her official residence, Ganabhaban.
