Tea workers are eagerly waiting as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to hold a meeting with them through video conference on Saturday afternoon.
The meeting will be held at 4pm. A stage has already been set up at Patrokhola tea garden in Moulvibazar's Komoganj, said Abdus Shahid, lawmaker from Sreemangal-Kamalganj.
The Primer will join from her official residence Ganabhaban.
The 13-member delegation of tea garden owners is present in the meeting which is set to discuss the demand of tea garden workers to raise daily wages.
Moulvibazar SP Mohammad Jakaria said as many as 1,500 tea workers are invited to join the meeting.
