In a major reshuffle in Bangladesh Police, seven Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) were transferred on Tuesday (June 13).
DIG Md Anwar Hossain of Chattogram Range has been transferred to Police Headquarters as DIG.
Rangpur Metropolitan Police Commissioner (DIG) Nure Alam Miah has been made new DIG of Chattogram Range.
The Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued the order on Tuesday (June 13) to this end.
The other senior police officers are: Anti-Terrorism unit DIG Md Moniruzzaman has been transferred to Rangpur Metropolitan Police as Police Commissioner, DIG Sheikh Mohammad Rezaul Haider of Industrial Police has been transferred to Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital as Director, DIG Mohammad Abul Foyez of Special Branch (SB) has been transferred as DIG of Industrial Police, Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital Director DIG Saleh Mohammad Tanvir has been transferred to Special Branch (SB) as DIG and Industrial Police DIG Ziahdul Kabir has been transferred as DIG of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT).
