At least 299 people were killed and 544 injured in 277 road accidents in 15 days during the rush centring the Eid-ul-Azha.
Jatri Kalyan Samity revealed the information at a press conference held at the auditorium of Bangladesh Photo Journalist Association in the capital on Saturday.
It said 25 people were killed and 10 injured in 25 railway related accidents while 16 died, 15 suffered injuries and six went missing in waterway accidents during this time
Secretary general of the platform Mozammel Hoque Chowdhury said the organisation prepared the records based on media reports.
