Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has undergone medical treatment at a public hospital like any other ordinary patient does.
She received treatment at the National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar after purchasing a Tk 10 ticket from the counter.
During the time, the prime minister enquired about the activities of the hospital and thanked its physicians and nurses.
PM’s former health adviser Modasser Ali and director of National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital professor Golam Mostafa were present there.
Earlier, the premier had received treatment at the same hospital several times.
