Awami League Joint General Secretary and Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Friday said only the Awami League runs the party in accordance with election laws.
The way the Awami League has led the country so far, it will lead in the future as well, she said while responding to questions from reporters after the centenary ceremony of Matripith Government Girls' High School on the Chandpur Government College ground.
The education minister said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the New Year's textbook distribution on December 31, and students will get the books the next day.
Chandpur Awami League Vice President Dr JR Wadud Tipu, Chandpur Municipality Mayor Zillur Rahman Jewel and Chandpur Government College Principal Asit Baran Das, among others, attended the program.
