A student of Ideal School and College in Motijheel has died of dengue fever.
Deceased Ishat Ajhar, a class III student of the school, died early Sunday while undergoing treatment at Universal Hospital.
Ishat's father Asif Azhar said his son had been admitted to a hospital four days ago with fever. Later, shifted to the Universal Hospital as his health condition deteriorated.
The family said Ishat went to school on July 9, the first day after the Eid-ul-Azhar vacation. Then he was infected with the fever and didn't go to school.
