The government has decided not to hold this year’s Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni disclosed the matter at a press conference at Education Ministry on Sunday.
She said, there will be no existence of JSC-JDC examination according to the new curriculum. Eighth-grade students would get promoted to the next grade through class assessments.
Secondary and Higher Education Division Secretary Abu Bakar Siddiq, Director General of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education Professor Nehal Ahmed and NTRCA Chairman Enamul Quader were also present among others during this time.
