A moving passenger train has caught fire in Kamalganj upazila of Moulvibazar, suspending rail communication on the Dhaka-Sylhet route.
The fire broke out on the Sylhet-bound Parabat Express at around 12:30pm on Saturday.
Two firefighting units were working to put out the flames, said Sreemangal Fire Service Station Master Shakhawat Hossain.
The origin of the fire could not be known immediately.
No casualties have been reported yet.
