BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has admitted to the United Hospital in the capital.
Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP's media cell, confirmed this information at 12:30 this noon (Monday).
He said that while working in the BNP Chairperson's political office at Gulshan in the capital, the Secretary General suddenly felt ill. He was immediately admitted to the United Hospital.
Shayrul Kabir said that Mirza Fakhrul was admitted under the senior doctor of United Hospital's cardiology department Professor Muminuzzaman.
Mirza Fakhrul returned home on Thursday after receiving treatment in Singapore Supreme Versular and International Clinic.
