Mehidy Hasan Miraz stroke his first ODI hundred hammering eight fours and four sixes in the 2nd match of the ongoing ODI series against India at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Wednesday.

From 69 for 6 to 271 for 7, Mehidy Hasan Miraz with unbeaten 100 off 83 balls, takes another step towards confirming that he is headed for a great career.  

A partnership of 148 for the seventh wicket with Mahmudullah, Mehidy has become only the second batter to score an ODI hundred from No. 8 or lower.

The hosts won a thrilling opener of the three-match series with one wicket to spare in Dhaka on Sunday.

They have made one change with Nasum Ahmed replacing Hasan Mahmud in the XI.

India made two changes in their bid to bounce back with spinner Axar Patel and speedster Umran Malik coming in for Shahbaz Ahmed and Kuldeep Sen.
