Two persons were detained for entering the secret room and instigating voters during the Gazipur city elections.

They were detained as per the instructions of the Election Commission (EC).

The detained men are Riadul Islam Riad at 101 polling centre and Abu Taher at 103 centre. Legal action related to polls has been taken against them.

The EC said magistrate ordered to keep Abu Taher confined for three days on charge of instigating voters for voting.

While monitoring the Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) polls from Dhaka's Agargaon on Thursday, the Election Commission found that two men were instigation voters.
