Former state minister and BNP’s Rural Development and Cooperatives Secretary Advocate Gautam Chakraborty passed away at a hospital in the capital on Friday afternoon.
He breathed his last at Evercare Hospital around 1:30pm while undergoing treatment.
BNP chairperson's media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter.
Earlier, he was undergoing treatment at Dhanmondi’s Ibn Sina Hospital.
