Greater Washington DC Chapter of Bangabandhu Foundation held a view exchange meeting at a hotel in Virginia on Saturday (Oct 1) evening.

Foreign Minister and President of Bangabandhu Foundation, Bangladesh AK Abdul Momen joined the meeting as the chief guest. Spouse of the Foreign Minister Ms Selina Momen was present on the occasion.

The Bangladesh Foreign Minister is now visiting the United States as a member of the Bangladesh delegation led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to join the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, said the Embassy of Bangladesh in Washington DC.

Executive President of Bangabandhu Foundation, Bangladesh Advocate Moshiur Malek was the chief discussant at the meeting, while President of Greater Washington DC Chapter of the Foundation Alauddin Ahmed presided over it.

Joint Secretary of the Bangabandhu Foundation, Bangladesh Shahidullah Osmani, President of Germany Chapter of the Foundation Md Yunus Khan and leaders of Greater Washington DC Chapter of Bangabandhu Foundation Dr Zahid Hossain, Khaleda Aktar, Syed Sunny and Advocate Wahiduzzaman spoke at the meeting, among others.

The meeting discussed in detail the activities of Bangabandhu Foundation and put emphasis on further strengthening the organisation.

Later, the Foreign Minister, accompanied by the Bangabandhu Foundation leaders, cut a cake on the occasion of the 76th Birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
