Health Minister Zahid Maleque has said the drive of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will continue until the private hospitals and clinics begin standard healthcare services.
The health minister came up with the information at the inauguration of health establishment for six districts and distribution of laptops among the healthcare workers at Cumilla Civil Surgeon office on Thursday.
Zahid Maleque said, “Earlier, 1,700 illegal clinics-hospitals were shut down during the drive of the health directorate. Institutions which are not registered yet or not being able to show registration will be closed.”
