Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold sit-in programme in front of electricity offices across the country on June 8 protesting the ongoing loadshedding.
The decision was taken on Monday at a standing committee meeting.
BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programme at a press conference held at the party's Nayaplatan office on Tuesday.
He said, "The party will hold sit-in programme in front of the electricity offices at district levels from 11am-12noon protesting severe loadshedding and corrruption on the sector. They will also submit memorandums."
