Badhan-starrer ‘Esha Murder’ goes on floor next month

The shooting of noted actor Azmeri Haque Badhan-starrer new film titled ‘Esha Murder: Karmaphal’ will begin next month. Filmmaker Sunny Sanwar is directing the film under the banner of Cop Creations and Binge.

The story of the film is based on the mystery of a sensational murder. Badhan will play the lead role in the project. Besides Badhan, newbie Puja Agnes Cruze, Misa Sawdagar, Shatabdi Wadud, Rawnak Ripon, Faruk Ahmed, Sumit Sengupta, Sharif Siraj, Nibir Adnan Nahid, Ejaj Ahmed, Maznun Mizan, Kazi Anisul Haque Borun, Sushoma Sarkar, Deepu Imam and others will be seen in the film.

The film will be released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr next. 

This was disclosed at the movie’s title and logo unveiling ceremony held at a restaurant in the capital on Tuesday night. Anti-Terrorism Unit Chief and Additional IGP SM Ruhul Amin graced the event as the chief guest. Senior officials of Bangladesh Police and Binge, cast and crew of the film, among others, were also present.

“The name of the movie makes it clear that the story of the film revolves around a sensational murder case. But there is a mystery behind it. I will not say more about the story right now. I’m preparing myself for the film, so that I can give my best”, said Badhan. 

Newbie actor Pooja Cruz said, “I’m very happy that, I’m starting my film journey with an important role in a big movie from a professional production house. Both the story and the character of the movie are to my liking. I will try my best to portray myself according to the character.”

The film’s director Sunny Sanwar, said “After leaving the action genre film, I entered the murder mystery. I myself was involved in the investigation of this case which happened in 2009. I dreamed of making a movie about it after the release of ‘Dhaka Attack’. I’ve written the plots of the movie ‘Esha Murder: Karmaphal’ from 2009 to 2018. The shooting of the film will begin in the first week of the next month.”
