Bangladeshi cricketer Zakir Hasan hits ton in debut test match against India on four day at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Saturday.
Chasing the target of 513 runs set by India, Bangladesh are batting on the fourth day of the first Test in the port city.
Today, Bangladesh have not lost a wicket before the lunch. The host came to field with 42 runs without a wicket. However, Nazmul Hossain Shanto could not continue his batting as he lost his wicket shortly after returning from lunch break. Later, Yasir Ali Chowdhury Rabbi who came for batting could not survive.
However, Zakir Hasan scored 100 runs on his debut with magnificient batting.
Zakir Hasan is the fourth Bangladeshi batsman who hit a ton on Test debut. Earlier, Aminul Islam Bulbul, Mohammad Ashraful and Abul Hasan Raju hit centuries on Test debut matches.
