Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Vanaspati Manufacturers Association has set new price of soybean oil after reducing Tk 6 per litre of bottled oil.
As per the new price, per litre of bottled soybean oil is now Tk 199.
A notification signed by the organisation’s executive officer Nurul Islam Mollah revealed this information on Sunday.
According to new price, non-bottled soybean oil per litre is Tk 180, bottled soybean oil Tk 199, and five lite bottled soybean oil Tk 980.
The new prices of soybean oil will be effective from Monday.
Earlier on June 9, the prices of soybean oil were fixed by increasing Tk 7 per litre.
