The city of Chittagong mourns the loss of one of its prominent businessmen and dedicated social workers, Md. Ripon, who passed away at the age of 58 on Monday evening, after battling illness. His untimely demise has cast a somber cloud over the business community and music-loving fans alike.

Md. Ripon, known for his philanthropic endeavors and contributions to social reform, had been a well-respected figure in Chittagong and beyond. He breathed his last at seven o'clock on Monday evening, following a long-fought battle with a serious illness.

FBCCI  Member and Proprietor of MJ Holiday Resort MA Momen expressed profound grief, stating, "Mr. Ripon was not just a successful businessman but also a dedicated social worker, a humanitarian, and a friendly personality. His commitment to uplifting the community and his contributions to various social causes were exemplary. We have lost a true gem. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family."

In a similar condolence message, the Vice President of Press Institute Bangladesh Journalism Alumni Association (PIBJAA) remembered Mr. Ripon as a philanthropic and generous humanitarian with a strong sense of self-respect. He further noted, "Mr. Ripon's passion for music was well-known, and his contributions to the world of music and social reform will be remembered with reverence by the nation. His legacy will continue to inspire us all."
