The Ministry of Culture has rejected permission for Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi’s scheduled arrival in Dhaka in mid-December to perform at an award ceremony.

Shahjahan Bhuiyan, the organizer of the event, said that she is not coming for the time being following the ministry’s decision due to the dollar crisis, reported Prothom Alo.

“She may come around January if the permit is issued,” he added.

Nora is a notable dancer in Bollywood known specially for dancing to songs like “Saki Saki”, “Dilbar”.
