New Market traders closed the market for an indefinite period until further instructions.
Meanwhile, shops at Chandni Chowk and Gausia markets are also closed, said New Market Business Owners' Association President Dewan Aminul Islam Shaheen.
As though, Chandni Chowk, Gausia and Hawkers markets were remained closed after the massive fire broke out at a New Super Market at an early hours.
The New Market will remain close until the New Super Market fire will be doused completely, Aminul Islam said.
