In the second unofficial one-day match, Bangladesh A beat their West Indian counterparts by 44 runs at the Gros Islet on Thursday.
Opener Mohammad Naim hit a hundred in this match. He made a great comeback after he was dismissed for a duck in the first match.
Sabbir Rahman, the out-of-form batter, hit 62. Riding on the batting performances of these two, Bangladesh posted a total of 277 for six.
For West Indies A, Anderson Phillip, Shermon Lewis and Bryan Charles bagged two wickets each.
In reply, Joshua Da Silva, the captain of West Indies A, scored 68 but that was not enough for them to avoid a defeat. They tumbled for 233 for nine in 50 overs.
For Bangladesh, pacer Mukidul Islam scalped three wickets conceding 32 runs in nine overs while Rejaur Rahman Raja bagged two wickets.
The third and final unofficial one-day match on August 20 now becomes a series decider.
