A total of 18 dengue patients died in the country in the last 24 hours till Monday morning, raising the death toll from the mosquito-borne disease rose to 416 this year.
Among them, 11 deaths reported in Dhaka and seven outside it.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGSH), total 2,480 patients admitted to the hospitals across the country during the period.
Of the new patients, 919 people admitted to hospitals in Dhaka and 1,561 admitted to hospitals outside it.
Total 2,764 patients have been released from hospitals after recovery.
Last year, total 281 people died from the viral fever.
