Regular classes and examinations at Rajshahi University, which were suspended by the authorities following Saturday's clashes, will be continued from Tuesday (March 14).
The university's vice-chancellor Golam Sabbir Sattar made the announcement at a press conference on Monday afternoon.
Earlier, the RU authorities suspended all classes and exams for two-day due to tense situation at the campus following the clashes between the students and the locals in Binodpur.
Two cases were filed on Sunday against around 800 unknown persons over the clash incident.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md Anisur Rahman on Monday denied the use of any firearms on students during the clash.
The clash took place in the city's Binodpur area near the university on Saturday (March 11) evening, leaving at least 250 people injured.
