Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) has fixed the fares of buses which will ply on 13 routes of the country's south-western region via Padma Bridge.

The BRTA has published a notice citing a list of new bus fares. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the Padma Bridge on June 25 and the country's longest bridge will be opened on the following day for the movement of traffic over it.  

According to the notice signed by BRTA Director (Engineering) Shitangshu Sekhar Biswas, the bus fares of:

The notice said that Saidabad has been determined as Dhaka's station for the buses. It means that the fares have been fixed for the buses which will leave this station. However, the bus fares will rise further if the government imposes tolls afresh for using Dhaka-Mawa-Bhanga Expressway.
