Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bowl first in the first ODI of the three-match series against India in Mirpur on Sunday.
Bangladesh's stand-in skipper Liton Das said they were going with three seamers and two spinners, taking into consideration the moisture on the wicket. India captain Rohit Sharma, too, said they would have probably wanted to bat first in their first ODI in Mirpur since 2015.
Kuldeep Sen on debut. KL Rahul to keep wicket today, according to the India skipper.
The second match of the series takes place here on Wednesday before the final match in Chattogram next Saturday.
The ODI series will be followed by two Test matches – the first in Chattogram and the second in Dhaka.
