Bangladesh have declared their first innings at 465-9 taking 68-run lead on day four of the first Test against Sri Lanka at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Wednesday.

Tigers were forced to declare after No. 10 batsman Shoriful islam had an injury.

Bangladesh overtook Sri Lanka's 397 runs in the first innings and reached a decent total of 465 runs relies on the centuries of Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim.

Tamim and Mushfiqur played decent knock of 133 and 105 respectively while Liton's 88 and Mahmudul Hasan Joy's 58 helped the team to reach the total.

Rajitha ended the session with 4-48 while Asitha Fernando had figures of 3-72 while Lasith Embuldeniya and Dhananjaya de Silva picked one wicket each.
